The largest Japanese online fashion website \u201cZOZOTOWN\u201d operated by Start Today Co., Ltd. (CEO Yusaku Maezawa, Headquarters in Chiba city) has decided to change its company name to \u201cZOZO, Inc.\u201d, and to announce this at the 20th<\/sup> annual shareholders\u2019 meeting planned on June 26th<\/sup> Tuesday, with the approval of the bill at the general shareholders\u2019 meeting. The word \u201cZOZO\u201d expresses the collaboration of \u201cImagination\u201d and \u201cCreation\u201d, which comes from the Japanese word of \u201cImagination (Sozo)\u201d and \u201cCreation (Sozo)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Today marks the 20th<\/sup> anniversary of the establishment of Start Today. The company has come to a turning point, which can even be descried as a second stage, with its development of the private brand \u201cZOZO\u201d supported by the technology of the body measurement device, the \u201cZOZOSUIT\u201d. The private brand \u201cZOZO\u201d has received remarkable reviews of its apparel items such as the \u201cCrew Neck T shirt\u201d and \u201cSlim tapered denim pant\u201d from customers who have measured themselves with the new and improved ZOZOSUIT, which has been massively distributed across the country from April 27th<\/sup>. Moreover, as a result of an awareness survey regarding \u201cZOZOTOWN\u201d and \u201cStart Today\u201d, in fact the awareness of the name \"ZOZOTOWN\" was 93.1%, while that of \"Start Today\" was 19.6%.<\/p>\n

*Survey target : A total of 1,051 men and women between the age of 15 \uff5e 49 across the country. The investigation period was from May 18th<\/sup> Friday to 19th<\/sup> Saturday. (The sex \/ age composition ratio is according to the population composition.)<\/p>\n
